This is an excellent app over all. The data tracking and customization are invaluable. I wish this app had the ability to export class data, or email information in aggregate or by student, a backup compatability with a cloud server, an ability to upload names from a roster, and synchronicity between multiple devices. Then it would would be as a dream!

I thought it would let me be able to mark if a student didnt answer or didnt answer. It would be good to mark the percentage of how correct an answer is. I have to mark as if they answered the question to be able to move on to the next student. Argh!!! I really needed something to help me in the classroom. Now its just another tool that kind of helped me, but not really.

This app is a must-have for tech-savvy teachers. Im so glad this app is available on both iPhone and iPad. Unfortunately, the sound is not working on the iPad. Even so, these sticks make keeping track of calling on students a breeze--easier than using real sticks. Being able to assess responses makes giving a participation grade easy.

Easy to use and its cute!

If youre thinking about using your iPad or iPhone in class as a teacher tool, I recommend Stick Pick. I like it because its not just another name picker. Its a simple way to get students engaged in higher order thinking! The kids love it, too.

So excited about the upgrades. Ive used Stick Pick for two years now and enjoy the convenience and simplicity. The option to copy a class allows me to keep track of student response in multiple blocks. Thank you for a great educational tool!

Although this app works really well if you have a large number of students there is no option to import class lists from drop box. The idea of having to type in the 800 students that I have one by one makes this app (however great it is) unapealing. Please include the ability to import class lists!!

I use this in my class all the time! Even high-school students enjoy the app. Not only is it good for questioning, I use it for games also!

With there was an easier way to switch between Blooms questioning.

This app is excellent! Ive already spread the word across my district. Teachers, dont wait, get it NOW! And with iPhone 5 support now (told ya Id change my rating), I can see more of the sample questions in one screen. Its grrrrrreat! :-) Thanks guys/gals!

I like the idea of using sticks to call on students so I am not continually calling on the sad student but I was disappointed to find out that if I chose sticks only that I could no longer use the other areas of the apps. Seeing how it cost 2.99 I feel it is a rip off for such a little feature. They should think about allowing a teacher to use all the features under different classes or titles.

This app does what it says and is great for engaging a higher number of students in class. PLEASE update wit the ability to import class lists!

I would love to use this app right away, but do not have time to import all my classes during my plan. It will take some serious commitment to sit down and do so. Also, I wish I could easily switch between the Blooms targets for a student, instead of just having them preset to one stage. What if we are in conversation and the student is meeting several levels, but the prompts and record keeping limit me to a preset. This app does have wonderful potential, but it needs a few things worked out.

Nice for one class. I teach middle school and have multiple subjects. This app does not allow for that. I wish Id been informed before buying it.

I do love this app. I use the Blooms and ESL questions to get more in-depth answers from my students that are at a different level. I teach mild special ed. However, I would like to see an option to import class lists and (this is my most IMPORTANT) syncing with other devices. It is a great pain and waste of my time to have to add all my students and their levels to every device I use in my classroom.

Engages students. Easy to use.

My class and I love stick pick. The suspense! I use it like old school sticks for randomly calling on students and getting them into groups. The app takes in to "new school" by popping question stems according to whatever level you assign your students. Thanks for your app!

Amazing! Your students will love the individual questioning using a built in Blooms Taxonomy as well as targeting questions per your ELLs proficiency level. Not time consuming to set up and very quick to implement while youre teaching.

Love that it is more than just a student picking app, but I am a music teacher with almost 500 students. I need an app that syncs with my iPad and iPhone so I dont have to type names into both devices. Sometimes my phone is more convenient to use, and other times it is my iPad. A cut and paste option would even make it easier, although the preference would be for my devices to sync.

This is a great app, but Im a computer teacher with 700 students! I need a better way to enter names, sync across devices, and dynamically pick a level of questioning.
